Alan Garner’s new Memoir – Powsels and Thrums
and the revised edition of The Voice That Thunders
are available via our bookshop.
We are very grateful to all who purchase their books from us; all profits help to fund the work of The Blackden Trust.
Shop
When you visit Blackden you can browse around our small shop and purchase books written by and about the authors who have lived and worked here. You can buy reproduction ceramics based on the sherds found in the garden and surrounding fields, made by potter John Hudson and you can purchase postcards of the tremendous photography of David Heke who took many of the photographs on this website.
We hope you will visit us and take home a memory of your day. In the meantime you could consider making a book purchase from our online shop. We do urge you to purchase from The Blackden Trust website rather than elsewhere as all profits from books sold in this way are donated to The Blackden Trust.

Our charge for Postage and packing is under review as postal service costs are changing so frequently. Currently our fall back charge is £4.00 for 3 or less books (UK only).
